Spring Seminar – March 18th 2017

YOGA: Ancient Wisdom –  Modern Science

at           Trinity Methodist Church Hall, Trinity Gardens, Bramhall Lane,

                                    Woodsmoor, Stockport SK3 8TP

 

10am- 12noon Focuses on the first 4 aspects of yoga with reference to the other 4 & how modern developments aid in our practice including lifestyle & exercise.

 

1-3pm   considers  how modern techniques of mindfulnesss, meditation & mental awareness can be enriched by ancient methods of yoga & ‘sanatan dharma’.

 

Physical practice will accommodate all levels of ability suitable to the individual.

 

12-1pm                      Lunch break- cakes & drinks will be available for purchase

 

            The seminar will be followed by the AGM for CYTA members 3.15 to 4.15pm

 

COST –   £20 on the door (pre-booked £17)  CYTA members pay £17 on the door (pre-booked £15)

HALF DAY- £10 on the door (pre-booked £8.50)  CYTA members pay on the door £8.50 (pre-booked £7.50)

 

BRING – non slip mat for posture work (or carpet/rug), small blanket or wrap for relaxation, and lunch

 

Parking– free parking available at the venue (please do not park on the grass)

Car sharing- Contact Sue or any of the Committee if you wish to share either as a driver or passenger
